The Plough Swinderby is a warm, family-run pub that sits snugly on the High Street in the gorgeous village of Swinderby. Just 8 miles away from the market town of Newark-on-Trent and 12 miles from the historic City of Lincoln, we're in the ideal spot for a hearty lunch stop or a refreshing pint.


We're proud to be a traditionally wooden-beamed country pub with a spacious beer garden offering a range of beers, real ales, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Alongside our fabulous selection of drinks, we serve high-quality homemade meals between 12 and 2:30pm Monday- Saturday. With Vegetarian options and children’s portions available, there's something for everyone. 

Every Sunday, we serve a Traditional Home Cooked Sunday Lunch between 12-2:30 pm - Book online or by phone. We recommend you book quickly as tables go fast!
